I have found Slinkachu during my A-levels and find him facinating, just imagine my excitement when I saw a perfect rendition of his unique style!
At the minute I am about to use my warhammer miniatures to personalise my own images in this style, but, being warhammer there all in war poses - where do you get your miniatures from if you don't mind me asking?

I think this 'Slinachu'- images are a great concept.
And yours fits well in an ever expanding collection
For this particular image I think I see too much of the 'surroundings' of the can. It could have been more focussed. Maybe you lose the square format then but that shouldn't be a problem imho.
Less surrounding gives more opportunity for surprise and looking longer to understand what I'm seeing.
I hope I made myself clear (English isn't my native language and the nuance isn't easily translated from Dutch to English by me)

i see what you mean,
i was thinking about investing in a lens that would alow me to venture closer.
i was using the kit lens at the time (18-55mm) but i'm a tad broke at the momment! lol after buying the canon 550d itself,
but i'm glad it was picked up on! now i know its not just me thinking too much!

thats what my tutor usualy did with my other images like this,
she'd laughed for about a minute or so and then said '..ahhh! good holly very good'
