Description
This is an art request for InkyRose . She wanted an illustration of her two OCs, Leonora and Roderic.Art Details: Acrylic paints and various mixed-media on bristol paper. I toned down the original colors after scanning it. It originally had too much bright blues and pinks. Now I like how the colors work well together instead of competing with each other.

*I do not own Leonora and Roderic. These original characters belong to InkyRose. I just hope that I did them justice.

*eyes pop out on stalks* This is BEAUTIFUL!!! This is probably the most beautiful image of these two- including my own artwork!!! Oh my word....this is just breath-taking! I simply can't get over how lovely it is!
Leonora's dress is astonishingly detailed and amazingly gorgeous- may I use that design in some of my own images? That collar is fantastic and I love her pearl headdress too! The stars and moon are beautiful too, and I like how they have a 'backdrop effect' as if they are part of a stage, which is great considering Leonora's stage background! I love your interpretation of Roderic- his eyes look love-struck and thoughtful and those clouds are incredible- this must have taken you ages!! I adore the tender rapture and contentment of the image of them together at the bottom- and her feather headdress is lovely!

Dress details:Β
I stenciled much of the dress pattern using paper doilies (but making up any sort of pattern with marker or paint can work also). I just like to stencil sometimes, it can be very therapeutic.Β Β Β Then I painted more color and shadows in areas of the dress. Lastly, I used a white gel pen to add what looks like bead work in the dress patterns. Hope that helps.Β
