Just a quick comic I made between doing school work.I hate putting in my contacts the morning after staying up late the night before. Sometimes I wait till I’ve gotten to school to put them in; hoping that the process will be less painful.
I'll go back into my corner now.

I feel your pain... I had contacts for about 2 months now and I always have trouble with opening my eyes... and then when I get to school my friends are like "What happened!?" "Why are you crying?" And my answer is always... "CONTACTS."

I did it without a mirror just yesterday!
Though I do have to say, wet skin is annoying. Dem eyes just won't stay open!

I usually put in my contacts without a mirror without any problems. (apparently I'm a natural with contacts)
But just try putting in your contacts after getting only two hours of sleep. Your eyes will scream in protest.

Ah, as for that - you're technically not -supposed- to do that. If you really need to do it again, though, a nice trick is those using eye drop things. Works for extending the life of dailies too. True story.

Probably not. I've just grown used to using no mirror.
It's not that I only took them out two hours prior or anything; so my eyes aren't dried out. It's merely because early in the morning (after only a couple hours of sleep) eyes can get very sensitive.
Eyedrops don't help at all, believe me.

Not for very long at all. My issue is trying to get my eye open wide enough, especially since my eyelashes are so long that they get in the way!

If you're still having problems, may I suggest turning your head to the side in front of a mirror and looking at the mirror as you put your contacts in? That way, instead of putting them on directly over your pupil/iris, you put it on the white part of your eye (which isn't as sensitive) and then you just slide the contact over! It works very well for me. c:
