Description Well, it's better than nothing. There were meant to be some cylinders in there as well. Also it's smaller than I would have rendered it. I'm not certain what made it finally render.

I wanted to try rendering it in Chaotica, but I just got a blank screen. Not sure why.

I am also trying a render of the proper version because I am a glutton for punishment.

You don't find a good fractal too often.

Fine render. Wonderful concept. Very soothing to look at. Like flying very fast down an inter dimensional time warp...

Size and layers are related. Too many of either can cause the system to overheat as it renders the resultant pong or whatever. It will get hot. Then it will throttle to try and save what it can. If the heat keeps rising, it will terminate the process in question in order to save the hardware and not corrupt the OS. Backing off on the layers and reducing the size allowed the render to take place within the confines of the hardware. It sounds to me like you are about ready to need a good workstation for projects built from more advanced stuff the lappie does not like...

Thanks!

Ah, that explains it. I have been considering building a pc at some point, this'll be something I need to consider, I think.

In my journal there is a build log about a machine which would have no trouble doing Apophysis render. It's name is Spanky.

Greetings and welcome to the Slow Dog's Place. Danger Dan here. This journal edition is going to focus on digital technology. It's all about building a personal computer powered by Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64bit OEM edition, from picking out the parts to putting it all together and making it work flawlessly. Yes, it is simple to buy a pre-built machine, but it is far more satisfying to do it yourself. So let's roll out the antistatic mat, don the wrist strap, retrieve that pair of long nosed pliers and a good long Philips screwdriver and get started.

Ranger Ricardo needed a new workstation. For over ten years, he had relied on his trusty XP box named Delilah to get work done. She had served him well through many service calls and recording sessions as a highly reliable workhorse. Even today, this computer works well, although XP support has long ended. She si

Many thanks, Ma'am. Spanky was much fun to build. I am honored to have his build log in your resources. Enjoy. If you have any questions, just let me know. I will be more than glad to help however I can.

XD Joking it's fantastic work!

Thank you!

I FINALLY managed to make the proper version render. Not too much different, tbh:

The important thing is that you know there's a difference and you'll stubbornly insist to all those who deny the difference and something about perseverance blah blah blah blah. Nice picture!

Missing plugin or could be that you need to change apo bwraps to chaotica's bwraps7
