Description

So this was for WITCHtober. Yeah. I think I kinda overshot by a few months. Anyway, for witchtober I was GOING to do, well, witches. And I decided to start with Morgan le Fay, the witch from Arthurian legend. In the course of researching her, I learned that in her earliest appearances in the great big mess that is Arthurian canon, she's a more neutral or even benevolent character, healing Arthur when he comes to Avalon. So I decided to draw that...and got a bit carried away.

Decided to play with style a bit, and try and combine the more painterly style with the kind of drawing I did for the Sleeping Beauty picture. It was fun, but it was so much work and I'm not entirely on board with the results, but I think it's better to just post it and move on.
