Description
Another supervillain of mine: Johnny Pain.

Once George Jones' best friend, Johnathan "Johnny" Payton grew-up in a poor household with an abusive father and an absentee mother(which, of course, his father blamed on him, hence the abuse), as well as being bullied relentlessly at school for being a "depressing freak." During the latter-end of his high school years, Johnny began to undergo unusual changes that caused his skin to start cracking and develop into an extremely hard, rock-like "armor." His father, after finding-out about how his son was changing, immediately started going to whatever doctors he could find and demanded they cure his son; however, this was more out of fear that Johnny would become a super-being like Guardsman(and, thus, an actual threat to him) than any real parental concern for his son's safety. While Johnny's mutations started-off as simply changing bits of skin that were easily-covered by his normal attire, they eventually began to become expanding body-mass and spiked musculature that was impossible to hide, forcing him to hide himself in dark alleyways. Added-up to all of his previous troubles, George's near-constant disappearances, and Guardsman aiding in arresting his father, this left Johnny bitter and angry enough to begin using his newfound power against others and towards mass-violence and destruction(which he soon found himself taking great pleasure in causing). This new belligerence quickly put him at odds with Guardsman, becoming one of the superhero's most destructive and dangerous foes.

Currently, the monster now known as "Johnny Pain" is being held in a specially-designed, maximum security prison located hundreds of miles below sea-level with scientists studying him in the hopes of finding a way to cure his mutations(and thus neutralize his threat to society). However, while he may be incapacitated and caged for now, it's only a matter of time before he's able to break free.
