I've looked to see if anyone else has done this, and nobody has.... so I decided to try and be the first. (I may or may not do more with this later.)
It's about time Disney got around to Rapunzel, even if it's going to be CGI (I have no intention of seeing it in 3-D). I think Rapunzel's design is a fresh idea (none of the princesses have green eyes). And I find it intresting that this prince (we assume) has facial hair- but he's a THIEF? Aladdin didn't start out as a prince and he was a thief too!
And goodness people: isn't this supposed to be the 50th Disney feature film made
?! How come nobody is acknowledging this, considering the first film was also a Disney Princess flick and hows a huge diffrence between the times?You all disapoint me
I'm thankful that at least the female lead has the since to get her butt out of that tower when she get's the chance and, from what I know of, the begining is true to the original fairy tale (remember how her mom wanted a certain plant from the witch? They have a good reason for that now, instead of making her seem dumb.) And anyway, I actually love the scenery of the film, so I'll let the CGI problem slide this time.
Anyway, about this peice: it's been awhile since I drew the KH trio (and I've made an improvement in drawing Donald and Goofy. I'm not too sure with how I drew Flynn (I don't know if I like him yet), and Rapunzel (who seems like she might get to kick some ass with her hair and that frying pan she takes with her... and also loves putting people in bondage
) almost in an unoriginal pose. At least I threw in Pascal (I took an instant liking to the little guy and he's personality in the first trailer.)So, I look foreward to seeing this film and hope that it's even better than it seems when Thanksgiving comes around the corner.
Edit: It's been a while since I saw the movie, but it was pretty good (and it beat harry potter 7 in money during the second week at the box office, last I heard of). And, for those who don't know it, you know how they show the DisneyAnimation logo before the film starts?..... THEY SHOWED IT WAS THE 50TH ANIMATED FEATURE!! I was the only one in the theatre that actually yelled out in happiness while my bud Danielle just thought I was being funny.

That's pretty well thought out! I don't know if the second visit would use the Tangled Ever After storyline though (Looking back at the past worlds, Kiara was implied on the second visit at ride Rock, but she didn't show up until during the end credits. Ariel and the Beast didn't become human permanently until the end credits too.)

I thought Goofy was a bit taller than Sora.

In the first game he was. If you go in first person viewing in both games, you'll notice a difference in height when you look at Goofy (since Sora aged a bit.)

I hope in the next KH game they put the Tangled world in there, then i can see Sora, Donald, Goofy, and hopefully Flynn get their asses handed to em by hair XD oh yes i can see Sora's reaction now

If they added Tangled in the next kingdom hearts I wonder what they are going to do to Gothel's death scene and I bet early in the Tangled world Rapunzel already trust Sora,Donald and Goofy.

I say keep that death scene. Most of the Disney deaths are somehow kept, in some fashion, and disenegrating into your true age, past your death and into dust, is among the worst deaths a Disney villain could endure. (but it was pretty darn satisfying to see, knowing Gothel.)

If tangled was the original fairy tale, it would have a very strong impact on young girls, since Rapunzel is anything but her original incarnation.
Plus, it's WAY more entertaining.

Personally I loved Tangled and I totally agree with you. Tangled's Kingdom of Corona would be so cool in a Kingdom Hearts game! It's new and refreshing that's what Tangled is. Disney did a very good job for the 50th film and I think they would have done Walt Disney proud. I just wish that maybe it wasn't CGI...then it would be a full blow Disney Classic. I say put Tangled in Kingdom Hearts!

Sometimes I also wish they had Tangled as a traditional 2D animated moive. Still, it's really beautiful in it's CGI version, and it shows how much better they got that style down (especially compared to Chicken Little- I haven't seen the entire movie, but from what I saw, Tangled is a LOT better, in terms of animation.)
Where do people get the idea that the Kingdom is called Corona? Is it the offical name, but never mentioned except in commentary or notes, or was that something all the fans came up with?

No that's the official name of the kingdom. It was mentioned in a interview. I first found it in the link below but I wasn't sure about the name either (not a huge trust in wiki) but it mentioned it in one of the interviews or something to that effect, it might have been said somewhere in the movie too like it was written somewhere. I don't honestly know either but that seems to be the name. PS- I forgot to say this last comment great picture!

I can guarantee you this will happen to Sora and friends if they include this film as a world in Kingdom Hearts 3 in the future

Gothel will probably be like Malifacent using the heartless, the nobodies would be their own, random thugs, not sure about any unversed. Here's an idea for a heartless for the Tangled world, how about something like the mummy from Halloween town but with a bigger head and sharp teeth. I can see Maximus being a sommon right now..

Many of the horses from films that were converted to worlds were not lucky to make it into the game, but it would be a SIN not to include Maximus in any way. A summon would be intresting... hopefully he would still use that sword (which is one of the reasons why he's awsome.)

We have the possible kh 3 and the 3ds game comging soon (it's been heavily hinted, from the recent trailer, that the world hunchback of notre dame will be one of the worlds, but it's not been confirmed. Check it out.)

I noticed that Disney logo thingy with Mickey there, and I was pleasantly surprised to see no Pixar logo whatsoever popping up...
This would make a perfect world! I'm just trying to figure out what appearances Heartless could take that would make them stand out as original Heartless for this world.

well, the last few cgi disney movies were not by pixar, but they haven't had a great reputation outside their fans. (I haven't seen any of them the enitre way through, but it's unsettling to see too many cgi films in a row coming out from a studio that's famous for it's 2-d films.)
Oh boy, this will be fun:... the heartless would either be A. thug or bandit related B. sharp object related (to try to get R's hair, but doubtful.) c. anti-sun related d. evil japanese hair ghost (I'd love to see that, man would those look as creepy as heck.)

Thugs and sharp things! PERFECT! I was also thinking of Heartless soldier guys on Heartless horses if you were to go to the castle and around that marketplace area. I'll have to design some! 8D
Ah, now an Emperor's New Groove world would be funny. I'm still hanging out for a Princess and the Frog world.

heh- well, that wasn't what I had in mind. It was supposed to be like the picture for a chapter of the manga version of the first one. Ironically, in the manga, when Sora found part of the Ansem Report in Ariel's grotto, donald comments "he went through a girl's room" and both him and goofy are just shaking their heads in disaproval.
I guess a similar scenario like this would happen, if this becomes a world- I give best of luck to the team if they can get the same length of hair for her (which they didn't do for the tangled game, from what I saw), I dont think it would happen in the tower, knowing when the trio enters a world at a certain point in time (like in mulan), and would be on the same pages Flynn was when learning about the 'healing and glowing' part of her hair.
Unfortunately, I dont think we could get to fight Gothel- it would be like in Cinderella's world and involve some japanese-hair type heartless (though both she and Tremaine are B***s to begin with. )

hmm, well, when I first did it, I just thought it would be cool to do.
So far, I guess it would be like one of the drawings for a chapter of a kh manga (well, in some of the manga chapters. example: one of the chapters for wonderland features sora dancing with alice, along with donald and goofy, and another, for agrabah, as all the party members in prince ali get-up with abu as an elephant.)
I wrapped Rapunzel's hair around the trio in the way I figured it would be, along with their reactions (knowing Goofy, it fits him perfectly.)

Either Tangled or Princess and the frog (the game has used chicken little as a summon, so there's some hope for some of the computer animated films.)
There are a lot of films I wish they could turn into worlds, except most of them have something in common in plot or the setting is similar.
And, of course, if they used pixar, that would be awesome.

I can easily predict how fighting him would be like (kind of similar to oggie boogie, where you need to fight some kind of obstacle in order to pop a can of whoop-ass on him.)
Gothel, I can also see using the heartless in her fight as well (and she would actually use that dagger she has too.)

(and come to think of it, Beauty and the Beast was the 30th animated film and it happened to have a princess in it too... makes me onder what the 100th film will be, if we get to live that long.)
