At first I thought that Li'l Red was Toboe from Wolf's Rain. 0.o

Awesome job, though!

I like the backround.. It portrays a cold feeling.

that's a very cool drawing

it's kind of 'shocking' because of the wolf beeing alive and already put on the dead-list because of the unbelievable cut to let redhood out. It seems she looks dead. Witch gives it a backwards symbolism. As in, as a viewer of this piece i'd expect the wolf to be dead and redhood to be alive.
The colors really fit the piece, the grey of the wolf that actually makes him look sweet against the repeating 'alerting' red that redhood is surrounded by. This also gives me the feeling of reversed symbolism. Because u expect to have compassion for the girl. But even though the wolf is staring very viciously at the viewer i tend to have more compassion with him then with redhood. Maybe that's because he seems to be in pain. And we all know what kind of pain it is when someone is leaving u...

i think this is a perfect drawing for an original - fairytales book or something...

Very cool! (ach, what a horribly over-used word - I appologise for using it).

I always thought little red riding hood was a very gruesome tale... what with live people being cut from wolves stomachs and then the wolves being sewed back up with stones shoved into their innards... that used to give me nightmares when I was little - the poor wolf!

I know! I have a book somewhere documenting all the original, archaic versions of our 'tried-and true childrens classics' and they are really disgusting... like people being eaten alive in pits of snakes and stuff... and in cinderella one of the ugly sisters cuts off the ends of her feet to fit into the glass slipper, the prince rides off with her in the carriage and only notices what she's done when the blood begins to leak onto the carriage floor. He then takes the slipper back to cinderella who puts it straight on, (still full of blood) and orders that the first sister be executed.... who wants to read the modern version when they can read that? I mean really?

I remember when fairy tales used to be spooky enough to give you nightmares. I remember reading them under the covers at night with a flashlight. I remember when childhood had all the shadows and intrigue and secrecy and privacy that should be as important as the fun and the games and the morals and the euphamisms. All those things that have now been lost through modern sanitisation and cencorship.

(Sorry, I'm getting a little long-winded here...)

I love this...the creepy nature of it adds so much to the art...your work is increadible...

I personally can't do anything with watercolor. The way you manipulate the paint is awesome. It looks almost like you did it on a computer or something, it is so detailed. Keep the masterpieces coming!

Hehe... wow.. thats really cool ^^ creepy... but cool.

I like the technique... its really detailed, what with the wolf's coat, and the dead, doll like red riding hood. Plus the colour of her clothing and the paleness of her flesh stands out against the neutural colours of the rest of the painting...

rock awesome
