For some VERY odd reason, I'd sometimes picture Finn, Jake, Marcilene's gender-bent (Marshall Lee) and the Ice King as members of Slayer. I kid you not.

Finn = Jeff Hanneman (1964-2013 RIP)

Jake = Kerry King

Marshall Lee = Tom Araya

The Ice King = Dave Lombardo

Don't ask me what I was on when that somehow popped in my head, 'cause neither do I.
