beautifully creepy! Congrats on seizing the moment as you did. Being there is 80% of getting good shots as they say! The geometric arrangement of the birds is no accident and it's cool to see nature's forms captured and revealed like this. A friend of mine wrote his dissertation on the relationship of "multiples to the uncanny", and this image would go perfectly with his text. There's just something ominous about gatherings of birds in particular. Perhaps because of the way they move individually, yet also as a coherent group. Hitchcock capitalized on this uncanny sensation with the classic movie "The Birds"
