Kamiko is friendly and tolerant woman, she's gentle but can be stern when she needs to be, but is a bit of a push over is shes in a good mood.
she's optimistic and always tries to look on the brighter side.
She can often get rather flustered when under pressure, and she can sometimes be rather forgetful.

Like many her age she lost her parents in the Ninetails attack, she was then raised after that by her civilian grandmother.
After her grandmothers passing when she was 19 she inherited the family home, its her pride and joy, the kitchen is her favorite, she believes if she hadn't followed her parents bath and became a shinobi, she would have been a cook.

She was childhood friends with kakashi, but once he went to Anbu she feels like he didn't come back the same person, she tries hard see glimpses of that boy she was friends with as a child. In her quest, she realizes shes developed feeling for him, once she realizes it, she struggles not to become visibly flustered around him.

She gets offended when people view her as weak, somehow thinking because she works mainly at the academy as a chunin shes somehow lesser of an average shinobi.

She has a warm heart that often gets stepped on a little too often.
