Here's a pic of Sparkenstein and Dr. Stein's past.

This took place after Sparkenstein was released from prison and got reunited with Dr. Stein. After getting to know each other, Dr. Stein surprised Sparky with a robotic eye. Sparky couldn't believe it but at the same time he was so happy until he saw the color of his new eye. After looking at it, he made a request.

Sparkenstein: Um... Doc?

Dr. Stein: Yes, Spark. Is something wrong?

Sparkenstein: Nothing's wrong, its just... Could you change the eye color to purple instead of blue?

Dr. Stein: Um... Ok. Are you sure?

Sparkenstein: Yes...

Dr. Stein: Ok... I'll be right back.

Sparkenstein: Thanks, Doc.

A minute later, Dr. Stein returns with Sparky's robotic eye with a new eye color.

Dr. Stein: Here's your new eye. By the way, any reason why you want it purple?

Sparkenstein became flustered as he started to feel shy. He smiled shyly.

Sparkenstein: Well... You see... I..

Dr. Stein can see what's going on then he smiled at him.

Dr. Stein: I see... The color represents the person who saved you and inspired you to turn your life around, right?

Sparkenstein's glasses lowered as he blushes, he turns away as he lifts it up with his two fingers.

Dr. Stein: (laughs) Don't be shy... I understand how you feel and who knows.... you might see her again.

Sparkenstein: ....! How do you know?

Dr. Stein: Just a hunch. You better some sleep, Spark. You have an operation tomorrow.

Sparkenstein: Oh right...! Well... Night, Doc.

Dr. Stein: Good night, Son.
