She is.This is the great experiment. I lined this in GIMP with out shutting off the anti-alias like I usually do,and mostly colored most of this in Gimp as well. Except for the outlining work and her eyes which were still done in Paintshop Pro 10.
It was the devil, despite the fact that the lines are smoother. I lost the completed picture once without saving and had to redo it. It sucked. Had to color in all the little white dots left behind.
I'll stick with shutting the anti alias off and just color in PSP10.

I love her but can't help wonder what the story behind the picture is. Is Destrier heading off on another one of his adventures or has somepony just gotten under her skin? Or are Randi's offspring causing trouble again. XD

The song "Tornado" by Little Big Town made me do it. The actual file name is Tornado. She is not happy with someone. Not Destrier.

I know. Anti aliasing makes lovely smooth lines, but it is the absolute worst for me to color after using it because of the "halo" effect it has. I simply lack patience enough for all the painstaking fill in the dots coloring. If only there was a way to use the anti aliasing without the halo effect, because I would use it in a heartbeat.
I decided to try it out on this one, because I didn't want to ruin any of the requests I have, or put me in me mood of not liking the characters involved after all the length of time spent dotting.
All my requests are sketched and scanned, I just need to get to coloring.

It's really hard, heck, I still can't do it well.
But I did find a way to color easy.
I first make the outline,
then I make a second layer with a copy of the same outline.
Then I use the paint bucket to fill the areas in the lower layer,
with the correct colors.

I may try that with an easier character than Honeycrisp to color.

I know how you feel.
Spending a long time on the same thing,
and having to start over because the program crashed or didn't save right,
then having to spend even more time on it.
