Description
1. Mako Mankanshoku from Kill la Kill. I love that they brought back her fight club ultima uniform for episode 23 and pointed out that her inner strength is what makes the outfit so powerful
2. Some Kenny sketches. I was watching South Park and wanted to doodle. I'm not good at just doodling for the sake of doodling so I was kind of proud that I was able to do it, if that makes any sense.
3. and 10. A sketch of the character at the bottom. I was watching The Secret of NIMH and loved Mrs. Brisby so much that it made me want to draw...anthro? Is that the term? Not sure. I didn't decide on a gender or anything, but it was fun to draw
4. and 8. Sketches of Mrs. Brisby from The Secret of NIMH. Because of Nostalgia Critic's great love for the movie and our similar mindset's I thought it'd be worth buying on Youtube and my God what a beautiful movie it was. I didn't really understand where the magic element fit in, but my God it was a beautiful movie. And Mrs. Brisby! What a beautiful, well-written female character! She's allowed to make mistakes, feel fear, and do all this without losing her personality or her courage. A common mistake a lot of writers make is that if a character feels fear or makes a mistake their personality is altered or their courage is permanently lost. It's nice to see a movie that doesn't make that mistake.
5. South Park sketches of Stan, Kyle, and Cartman as older teenagers. I think of the main 4 Stan is my favorite and the one I relate to the most.
6. Delsin Rowe from Infamous: Second Son which came out yesterday! Good God I've been waiting for this game to come out since last year and I was not disappointed. Alot of other people seem to love it too but aren't fond of the simple plot. Personally, I don't need every game to be Bioshock Infinite. The simple story made sense, it allowed the characters to breathe and become complex without too much exposition, the powers and visuals in general are creative and aesthetically appealing, and the gameplay just looks fun and fluid. Plus, Delsin is damn handsome. He and Connor (from AC3) have got me thinking that I might have to widen my criteria for potential attraction.
7. Ryūko Matoi from Kill la Kill. God what a great show. Even if you take the symbolic meaning away from it, it's a hype up, colorful, and well-written show and I love it to death. If you can ignore the fanserive (which oddly enough contradicts the message fo the show but hey at least it tries to HAVE a message about that topic) then I really recommend it.
10. A fish moose. See here
