Description This is another illustration of a character from my book. She has a pet crow who  enjoys playing fetch with her arrows. She will shoot the arrow into the air and the crow will catch it before it hits a target. However, it is trained not to interfere while hunting of course. She is the finest archer in her country, however because she is a woman, she was forbidden from taking part in the kings military. Instead, she feeds those who dwell in the castle with wild game.

That's it for this week! Have a nice weekend everyone :3

Okay, first things first: I absolutely love the coloring choices and the linework on this piece. Everything really pops and you worked with yellow lighting way better than I ever could. Even the placements on the shadows on the grass underneath the characters look great. You even drew breasts greater than I ever could. Howdoyoudothismaster???

The crow looks pretty damn cute along with its wittle bellll. And the fact that you made the castle less detailed in the background is a nice touch.

Your anatomy is very good and better than mine. (I suck at drawing girls) This could just be me, but her arms look a bit skinny compared to the rest of her body.

The eyes are also too high up her face and her forehead is rather small. This is also something I struggle with; (like, a lot. It's a pain, I know) but even if you're drawing in an anime style, the eyes shouldn't be too high and away from the nose. I highly recommend this tutorial: www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7bzhG…

I also think she should probably be looking at her pet crow as it's looking right up at her. Considering how there's yellow lighting on the characters, I think there should be some yellow lighting on the grass, as well.

Overall, you have a very beautiful style. Just needs some work and I think you'll be an amazing artist.

Thank you so much for taking the time to type out this detailed comment. I truly appreciate your feedback.

You have some great points here, I will take lighting and anatomy into more consideration. Thank you for the tutorial link as well.
