Brightstar climbed the stone steps up to the Highmoon rock and she was ready to make an announcement for this moon.

"May all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather by the Highmoon rock" Brightstar called out from the high rock.

From there she could see the gapping hole where in the Ravineclan camp right where the nursery was.
She was scared for her clan because Starclan either didn't warn them of the danger or Starclan sent the earthquake.

Once her clan had gathered under the rock Brightstar was ready to speak again.

"I know a lot has happened this moon. And I know you are all scared" Brightstar said and she tried not to sound unsure in front of her clan.

She continued "But good things have come this moon as well. Ivorypaw is an apprentice and Tigerfeather has decided to choose a new apprentice. This cat has shown an interest in the art of healing and Tigerfeather thinks he will do well in his new role."

The medicine cat had been sitting by the bottom of the Highmoon rock and he stepped forward to announce his choice.
It was the medicine cats job to decide who his apprentice should be although he did ask for Brightstars opinion.

"Under the name of Starclan and with Kinkwhisker's spirit watching. The new medicine apprentice I have chosen is Gingermonarch. In the next half moon they will come with me to the Moonfall to be accepted before Starclan" Tigerfeather said and he sounded very formal.

Brightstar dipped her head to the medicine cat and a cheer of applause rose up as a new a medicine cat apprentice was named.
Brightstar hoped that it would help calm some of the fears her clan had been having.

"Now the next part of my announcement is a big one. I have been talking to Owlspots and Tigerfeather and some of you have voiced your concern about the state of our camp. While this has been our home since the founder of Ravineclan since there is no nursery and it is impacting on the medicine cat as well as the kits I have decided we need to move camps."

Brightstar waited as she let the new sink in.

"So for a few days I am requesting every cat old enough to catch their own prey must look for an area to set up a new camp. This must include all the dens for a clan and enough resources" Brightstar announced.

She stared at her deputy for a moment and wondered if she should reveal what she had learnt about her.
Brightstar decided she would see how Starclan would judge her friend and that revealing everything now would be nasty.

"That is all for now" Brightstar announced and she called the announcements to a close.
