I have been Reading "The Quest" and i must say how i admire how much thought and detail you put into the Symbolism of the story. Not many writers do so; revealing the hidden meanings behind things, but you have. I have always been curious and interested about the symbolism of such things. Thank you for writing such a creative and insightful peace of work. It is truley a story that gets your mind working.

Out of curiosity, when does this happen? I'm reading the fic (love it!), what chapter does it go with?

It's cool, and believe me, I know the feeling.
I'm the girl who sent you a fanfiction.net message a few days ago asking for the mild version of part 2.

I have a question- I noticed that in the edit file- it shows that you can change files (of pic submitted)... So if I did work with that mask some more, to try to make it cover more, do you know if I can change the picture above to a revised version without deleting this entire submission? Have you ever tried that?

Oh dear, I have no idea. No, I've never tried anything like that. I DID remove a pic I'd put up temporarily without any trouble. I suppose you could always remove it, fix it up, and resubmit it.

I never really thought of it as taking much talent. I've been collecting miniatures for more than thirty years, and used to subscribe to a couple magazines for miniature enthusiasts.
Now THOSE people were talented! They would make their own dolls and/or outfits and accessories. The tableaux they created were absolutely astounding.
The folks who made furniture were the most amazing. One fellow would visit museums or homes and take photos and measurements of full-sized antique secretaries, then reproduce them in 1:12 scale. Down to the smallest detail! If the secretary had secret compartments, then so did his reproduction. He had a two YEAR waiting list of people wanting his secretaries, and he only made three, maybe four, a year. And charged two thousand dollars each. THIRTY YEARS AGO!
As for me, well I DO make some nice tatted doilies in 1:12 scale. (I use sewing thread.) Mostly I just take other people's creations and cobble together a tableau with them. Something ANYONE could do. (And frequently better.) But I'm happy with my results, and that's what's important.
Wow, your high school project reminds me of one we had to do in first year drama class. Basically, it was to create a shoebox-sized dressed set. Stage angles had to be correct, backdrops painted, furniture and props added, etc.
I kept it for several years.
