New character~

ButterMilk was another surprise pregnancy from AppleJack and TrenderHoof but both parents welcomed her to the world as they did when they first had Braeburn . Sadly, she has NO interest in apples, period. She kinda hates them. She loves Pumpkins and tending to the Cows and Goats for their milk. She's learning how to cook thanks to Granny Smith teaching her and working on the farm is a bit of a hassle because her body isn't built to pull a heavy plow or buck apples off thick trees. She nearly sprained her hindleg attempting it.
AppleJack thought herself to be cursed when it came down to her daughter disliking apples too, like Braeburn. She almost coerced TrenderHoof to have another child in hopes of thinking the third one meant a sort of gamble on fate to give her a child that loves apples. I mean, what kind of offspring am I birthin' 'round here that hates apples!? I'm an Apple for Celestia's sake!

ButterMilk has a striking resemblance to the Apple's mother, Pear Butter, and in some ways her personality may have been passed down to her as well. She's sweet and has a rebellious streak to her. But she's not a talker and rather give one-word answers like her Uncle Big Mac. That doesn't mean she won't talk if she has to, to put her opinions out there.

Braeburn doesn't like having a younger sibling and didn't hesitate to show it. He and ButterMilk are at odds with each other and fight often. But ButterMilk was the baby and it's clear who gets in trouble the most. much to Braeburn's anger and seething of having that privilege taken away from him. So he quickly stopped his bullying on his sister and just kept his distance, but ButterMilk still sort of looked up to Braeburn and followed him a lot as a child, learning to just stay out of his way. And though Braeburn was a jerk, he never let anyone hurt/bully his baby sister.
Sometimes he comforts her when she gets spooked after a bad dream.

Trivia:

ButterMilk, as a newborn foal, always stuck to AppleJack's mare milk, stubbornly refusing to wean off it even when she got to a certain age
ButterMilk's mane is often not washed for a few days to a week and gets a 'wavy' appearance to it
She likes to hang out with Muffin
ButterMilk has a ravenous appetite
