So.I heard that there's yet another guy in the Toaruverse Mikoto's Railgun won't do shit to. (Sure, Mikoto didn't go all out, but whatever. The fact is that he fucking stopped that coin with his teeth).
Mikoto, meet Captain Japan. Sogiita Gunha is his name. And no, we're still in Toaruverse. In Academy City, even.
If anyone's familiar with this, yes, I'm that guy who finished the "Draw Sogiita Gunha catching Railgun with his teeth" request in /a/'s drawfag thread.
It's been a while since I last touched anything in Windows. Nah, don't need to mention Windows, it's been a while since I actually drew anything.

I hope he appears in New Testament. I feel like his introduction into the main story is long overdue.

I thought SS2 is part of the main story? Just... not related to the main's timelines?

As you know SS2 is short for "Side Stories 2," as such they are canon in the story but just not a part of the main story. For example, Bardway was introduced during Stiyl SS. At the end of New Testament Volume 1 when she made her official debut at the end, the author stated that he was excited that he finally introduced her into the "main storyline."
It is more than obvious that the side stories have affected previous storylines, such as the Angel Fall arc, or may affect events in the future, but they are still not part of the main storyline.

And the only thing I've heard of him before the event in which he stopped Mikoto's Railgun was his loss against a magician.

Well, whenever someone gets a load of fists into the face, it's almost always interesting.
... But this week's episode doesn't cut it. Oh well, I'll just wait patiently for the end of this (boring) arc.

Hmm...I always find the arcs involving the science side more interesting. When they are looking for certain magicians and explain religion and shit, it's just boring. This week's arc isn't so bad.

Reading to the end of this arc (in the novels), it was quite the epic one, although I don't know how it'll get animated. Hope they don't screw it up (yeah, we'll get a chance to see Laura being the evil bitch she is.
