This artwork is just stunning! I love how it is realistic and also "unrealistic" (don't know how to describe it ^^) at the same tim. There is emotion in their faces even though that birds can't smile. I really love this x3

This is simply awesome. It is giving me goosebumps by looking at how superb the shading and use of colours are. The way you blended hues, shapes, proportions and expressions is a joy for the eye and an inspiration for the heart *_*

These two are so precious together! I love how happy they seem, and how you can see the sparkle in the eagle's eyes when
their friend is near. Also, little birdie looks kinda proud of themselves^^ And the soft background colours are just icing on the cake.

I'm aware of.
The reverse happens as rarely as people have tender feelings for "food items". Maybe in nature it happens a little less, because people have much more opportunities for that.
But I think people use it just as rarely. In any case, articles about friendship between man and chicken, or man and pig, are as rare as articles about friendship between an eagle and a cat, or a lion and antelope. It happens, but not enough.
And yet, both humans and animals are rarely capable of it.

I think it happens enough because eating is necessary for survival (except humans which can live off plants)
