I know the feeling, man. Frustrating to say the very least. You'll think of something. I actually was thinking about you when I was cutting the grass, your Rotten pic, got me playing the Pistols, and I remembered you asking me about suggestions for others...then I decided I wanted to hear some Madness, and I was like Madness! Yeah...they might be good for a painting!

OMG you are speaking my language! I fucking love madness haha! I have a couple vintage pins, a ton of there records and two posters up on my wall!
Got a pretty good picture of Lord Suggs I could probably try out

I had a few vintage Madness pins myself, but fuck if I know what became of them or any of the others I had. Madness is awesome I've got everything they've done, but I prefer their 1st 4 albums or so. A Suggs portrait would be amazing, not enough fan art of the Maddies!

Definitely agree. Im not to big on their later works, but their early stuff was simply mind blowing. Gotta ask your top 3 Madness songs now haha. Think I'd have to go with Baggy trousers, House of Fun and either 'It must be love' or 'driving in my car'

Their newest album was not bad, it really went back to their roots, and all 7 guys were involved. Not classic era, but better than some of their Latter stuff. I think my top 3 madness songs would be Night Boat To Cairo, House of and also, and what do you know...It must be Love as well. Have you heard the original version of It Must Be Love? It was by a guy called Labi Siffre, for the longest time I had no idea it was a cover. His version is nice, but considering how layered and polished Madness' version is, it makes his sound very bare bones. Also I think that Madness' version of Swan Lake bears mentioing!

I know of them because I live about an hour away from Philly, but I have never heard them. Labi's version is on youtube. It's easy to find it to hear.

Those guys sound amazing! What a great blend of styles and a unique sound. Yeah Labi sings really well. It's pretty easy to see why they dug him.

Thanks! The shading is a lot of layering of black and white until it become light/dark enough or looks right.

Acrylic paints, the brand I use is "Galeria". I like this brand cause its thicker then most and drys pretty fast. I personally hate using pastels haha I dont really know why =/
