While I love LoTR & Hobbit movies, my favorite Peter Jackson film has to go to Dead Alive/Braindead!No other movie has made me feel like I was sitting in a bloody room full of zombie body parts... It's disgusting, but damn is this movie entertaining as hell. Of course I was disgusted, but I was laughing all the way through. Bravo to Peter Jackson for creating one of the greatest horror comedies. I've never laughed so hard with a scene involving beating up a baby (which is zombiefied)! This movie also had one of the best alternative uses for a lawnmower which is badass! And who can't forget one of the greatest quotes ever, "I KICK ASS FOR THE LORD!!"

I tried watching that movie once, but couldn't get through it. Β I love Evil Dead 2, which is in a similar vein, but Dead Alive was too gory for me. Β Even the very brief scene of it that they played in the movie Ruby Sparks was enough to bother me a little bit.
