You keep saying you have trouble with cars, but I don't see it lol Personally I think you did another really wonderful job here.Β The dogs look absolutly adorable and you did a really great job on the main guy.Β I haven't seen the film, but I did order it off of amazon so I will probably check it out later. I'll have to watch the actual review on my lunch hour when I head out to work.
But the added details of the cracks in the windshield and the motion lines around the pencil add a lot too. I need to start doing more stuff like that. Makes the pieces feel a bit more fleshed out and lively.

I discussed with rocketdave that my trouble with vehicles is how to make them "look like they "work" and connect with each other". And then there's the trouble to making sure the character fits in the car haha!

I have no right to talk considering all the in-jokes and gags I throw in my title-cards but what's with the recurring cute dogs in yours?

I guess a lot of us have stuff we're bad at drawing.Β Vehicles aren't my favorite either.Β But you seem to have done a decent job with the car.Β Β
I've actually seen this movie.Β I thought it definitely had an interesting idea behind it.Β I like the depiction of Hell as something like a more surreal fantasy version of Mad Max or whatever.Β Beyond that, I don't remember it that well.Β I probably thought it was one of those things where the premise was more compelling than than the actual execution.

I agree with you. Lots could have been done, but in the end it's not something I'd recommend unless you want to see lots of references.
I think the troubling thing part in drawing vehicles is the worry of making sure mechanics look like they "work" and connect with each other.Β Β

Whoa! I didn't know there was such thing as INFERNO COP!
Should probably have that guy go against Ghost Rider (Johnny Blaze or Danny Ketch)

I do agree. With how both Hell and the characters are portrayed in the film, I think it couldβve worked better if it was either a full on adult animated film, or, have the first half be in live action, and then when they enter Hell, thatβs when everything goes animated. Either way though, this movie is definitely an entertaining one, and I love how they portray Hell in a more modern way by making it just a dessert with a few buildings here and there.

It's an interesting version of hell. I just feel it's not executed as well.
Either way, it was weird enough to be rememberedΒ
