I think I went overboard with the scales. I think they look fine around the dragon's neck, and then I did too much at the legs and tail. What matters most is that Harryhausen's cyclops makes an appearance haha!
This film is like of a remake of The 7th Voyage since it was made by same people and has reoccurring actors. However it lacks the Harryhausen quality in monster effects and isn't as good an memorable. It's not terrible as I still did find it entertaining and I'm always a sucker for stop-motion monsters.
