Kierkegaard the angst llama at your service! Kier is fairly small as far as flufferbuns go, and not at all the kind of person you would consider scary. That's because he isn't. At all, much to his dismay. Also he'd much rather be able to physically intimidate people, Kier gets by just being an absolute weirdo and trying to (and succeeding at) generally creeping people out. Underneath the pissy scowling and flashing about of the grappling hook, Kier is a pretty good and reliable friend if you're able to put up with the rest of his behavior.

Kier is close friends with Anana, and he works at her smoothie joint mostly as a bookkeeper, but also as a waiter if she's shortstaffed. Ana is mostly just too forgiving to tell him to behave himself, but every now and then he really pulls through. She mostly just tries to keep him out of the kitchen, where he has been known to put raw meat in the blender for fun. Bad Kier. This is a vegan establishment.

Kier has a somewhat disgusted fascination with Koko; the first time he meets her, he picks her up by the tail thinking she's some sort of monstrous slug. Even though his curiosity of her hasn't wavered, he's been a little more earnest with his time spent with her and genuinely enjoys hanging out with her. Artemis is his idol, and Kier spends a lot of time at Artemis's library hounding him with questions about the occult. Contrarily, he finds Safir preppy and annoying, and doesn't understand why Artemis would want to take a fatherly role for them. Oh well.

INVENTORY

Grappling hook: Hidden in the curl of his tail. If his tail unfurls, he'll drop it, but otherwise he's got an incredible grip. He mostly has it to flash around like a weapon, but it is fully-functional as a grappling hook and it's amazing/hilarious to watch him fly through the air butt-first, considering he launches it from the base of his tail. He won't tell anyone where he got it, though.

Cuffs: Work on a hinge, and held closed with a magnet. They're easily removable, but for the sake of his aesthetic he's rarely seen without them.

Bandanna: Worn around his neck, lace down, when he's at work. He wouldn't be caught dead in it otherwise, but you know. A paycheck's a paycheck.

I'm in the process of upgrading my flufferbuns to gen 2 and I'm pretty excited. It's nice to just do character interactions and not have to worry about an overarching story, you feel? That's really what I use these characters for. I may or may not pick Ana's Smoothies back up, but I am working on their world a little bit.

Last note: his hooves are actually the same black as his claws; he uses nail varnish to make them look metallic. lmao.
