heeelllllllllooooooook, this is one of my photos for my final art project, so i'd really appreciate some feedback, what you like, what you don't like etc, as most of you already know my theme is psychological monsters.
thats me in the photo, so i had to use a self timer, and my tripod is quite frankly a piece crap, but i, personally am quite happy with the result

The eye definitely draws me in to this picture, kinda like its umm, how do you say,, it looks testing. As in, if you get closer you don't know what the hell i'll do, kind of testing.
The constrast of black and white always adds to a photograph. this in particular makes you suggest that there could be something hiding in the black. Another monster? The weapons? Blood? I don't know but something..

This concept is so cool!! I only wish that you could see even less of your legs, kind of like...they fade back into the middle so it's all black around the edges. That would make it seem like it was REALLY dark. Awesome expression though; I'm kind of scared looking at this xD

yes, now that you mention it i can see what you mean, unfortunately for this picture, i have quite muscular legs, and they do look quite disproportionate to the rest of my body, i'll have to keep that in mind, if i try anything like this again, thank you for the feedback.

The effect of the black and white contrast is really good, and so is the shadow effect, but I can't really pick out anything specific that I could say is a negative, and as Gen said the eye is drawn towards the feature.

good when i was taking the photo i was worried the eye wouldn't out as much i hoped for, but looking at it now i think it's fine

I think it looks very good.
The surrounding black really pulls the eye toward the feature,
The shadows are very dramatic
and the combination of shadow and detail for the eye creates an excellent effect

Yeah, I understand how frustraiting meaningless "It's soo good" feedback can be.
Especially for you when it's an assessment piece.
But I think this is one of the most asthetically pleasing works of yours I have seen.
