Is that flour on your skin? Whatever it is, I like the artistic effect.

Plaster. Don't ask, definitely not a good idea. I talked about it on the other starfish photo I have posted. XD

Yes, it's plaster. And it was mainly for texture.

That's cool in an interesting way. What was the inspiration for the photoshoot? Just because?

The photographer likes sea creatures. That's... pretty much where it started.

I'm working on the modeling thing. I've done some stuff with a few photographers, but nothing legit yet. I have to work up a better portfolio first.

...Haha, maybe those starfish are creepy because I have a weird phobia of spiders to where I like them, and then they terrify me...Nice photo though.

so i've been looking for huge orange starfish so maybe if you were interested, redo this whole thing. well, my quest reminded me of you and are photoshoot. i went to this place in arlington that sold mainly saltwater aquairum stuff...and there was this brittle star....well, it was about 10 times bigger than the ones on your face. like, if you spread it out it would have probably been over a foot in diameter, or bigger. and yellow. lol! he was really cool, but really scarybear cause of the sheer size. haha! anyway. finding big orange starfish is proving to be extremely difficult! i pretty much gotta either raise one myself or go to antarctica and fish up a really monsterous orange starfish thats bigger than my head, and rather scary cause they are so big. bahah!

Hahah! Oh jeez, that sounds terrifying! XD But have you thought about the like, dried starfish?

igaboo In reply to Hopie-chan [2010-01-27 18:20:07 +0000 UTC]

i have! i made a trip to hobby lobby and bought a dried starfish and i've been soaking it for about...half a week? well. its not working, its still pretty stiff. i got the idea from my friend whose preschooler teacher told him that if you resoak the starfish they would come back to life. well....now i'm stuck with a wet, rigid, dead starfish. buh. lol!
