Description A tutorial I made a while ago and posted on my old account. That account is deactivated, but I thought someone might be interested in this?

It's not very in depth on different textures and lightings, but it shows a little bit about how I pick colors and shade. If anyone wants, I can post a followup applying this to other things like faces or textures or hair or eyes?

The bit about shifting to yellow and purple is genius. I always wondered about a base rule of thumb regarding that. Thanks!

aww, thank you!! it took me a while to figure out, but I saw it briefly mentioned in a few other tutorials and thought I'd elaborate on it. since I started using that, it's added a LOT more depth to my drawings and helped out with picking colors
