Description I haven't created a space manip in awhile, since I've been busy. So I thought I might as well just try making something new to add today. It took me a little while, and turned out pretty well. With the new resolution I'm trying out, any and all comments like usual are appreciated about what I should work on, and what I did well. Special thanks again to resurgere for the stock.

to add onto what ~Horanano said, you can use the newer version, Photoshop Elements 8. Or [link] which is not as good but free with a lot of the same options and with enough practice can look amazing

Thanks, for this manip I used Photoshop Elements 7. But for making space manips I usually start off by finding stock on the web or on Deviantart - stock on DA is meant to be stock, so you can't get into any copyright problems over it. Then copy, paste, crop, rotate, and resize the pictures to fit what your using them for on a blank file. Personally I try and fill up as much space as possible in the manip with pictures (remember you don't have to use the 'whole' pictures, edges can sometimes look good), but some dark outer space also looks good. Next is the main step, and I know what I'm gonna say is pretty general, but to smoothly combine the pictures, you use the 'heal brush' tool (a pop up should appear telling you how to use it once you've found it) on the edges of the pictures, and on anything you think needs to blend better, or just look more like another part of the manip (ex. copying stars, small planets, etc.). It takes time, but once you get the hang of it you can start making great manips easily. Hopefully this helps.

Thanks I used to do a lot though not in computer form so I am learning a lot though not enough to look good yet.Still I have spark now and then.I,ve been meaning to get going on an avatar.I,ve been trying to down load on a card and it wants to take forever which most times I do not have thank God the boy has a live wire.It only took a couple hours to down load adobe.but in that vain what kind of resolution do you use for an avatar.Do you start off much larger and go down or start small.I have a power book pro though no external storage yet. Also for good behavior maybe I can get a Quintus can not wait to draw right on the screen.I hate being the adult.Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.
