Description Jessica saw the fun-looking agility event at Rosendal advertised on the internet and amusedly pictured herself running around the course with one of the stable's miniature horses- or even better, one of the warmbloods, they'd hate that!

She really wanted to give it a go but thought the horses would panic and refuse- especially at the tipping plank. Johanna snuck up behind Jess, planning to scare her but looked over her shoulder at the computer. She had seen the event a couple of days ago. "Visto would love that" she said, laughing. Jess hadn't thought about the welsh pony who was the 'clown' of the yard. "He would!" she replied smiling, "I bet he'd be great".

On the day of the event, Visto was showing off and alert. Jessica rode him for a while, to relax him and warm him up for the class.

In the ring he became excited again, and held his head high as he looked at the obstacles curiously. Jess brought a carrot with her in case he refused anything. The way to Visto's heart was food

He got over the first few obstacles quickly with no problems. The water confused him. As a trained showjumper, he was convinced he had to jump over it and pulled Jess to go faster. She pulled him back and he snorted in disgust that he had to get his feet wet
They came to the tunnel and Visto stopped and puffed. He could not see beyond it and was not going through it. Jess patted him and took out her carrot. Visto's pinned back ears suddenly came forward and he had his happy face on. Jess rolled her eyes and continued walking forwards with the carrot, Visto follwed her like a puppy.

Next came the tire. After a little leg shuffling, he walked into it. Jess encouraged him to move onto the next obstacle but Visto was not paying attention anymore. He looked down and puffed cautiously at the tire and then looked at Jess with his ears pinned back and snorted as if to say "I am a showjumper, what is this?!". She looked at the remaining obstacles and gave him the carrot knowing he wouldn't refuse the rest. He was still unimpressed but moved on with her. She patted him apologetically and laughed.

Great drawing!
However it just makes me think of horses getting stuck in tires and I shouldn't be laughing as much as I do
