Hm, yes, you're right—there are some similarities. It was on the first evening of our trip to San Gimignano so I wasn't under the full Renessaince influence (of Florence

I asked my brother in law if he had been to San Gimignano when he went to Tuscany. He painted this same basic point of view in a Cubist/Impressionist style. I will see if I have a photo of the painting in that mess I call a gallery.
