Description Indian Paradise flycatcher
Known for ribbonlike tail feathers on its males, this beautiful bird can be found in two morphs, cinnamon and white. This rofous one I've drawn is s cinnamon morph male. Both the morph's males have a blue ring around their eyes and get their favourite food by making short flights after insects, usually returning to the same perch. These are monogamous birds, which means they have only one partner in their lifetime. It's the long streamer of a tail that is the deciding factor in being picked as a mate.
This beautiful bird is found in the Mollem wildlife sanctuary in Goa.
