Second entry for 's Dark Main Characters contest. And I did ol' FD Link again! And I like this one SOOOO much better.

So, concept:
When Link's under the influence of the Fierce Deity Mask, he basically acts like an all powerful (and violent) deity, whether he realizes it or not. But in the end, his biggest asset is still the double helix sword, and without it, he's pretty useless, given he can't use any(?) other items in that form. Going into the fight with a cocky or superior air could lead to an unexpected attack from Majora, where suddenly Oni Link (yeah he's called that too, derp.) looses his sword, and is simply dragged powerlessly to whatever terrible fate he should meet. It's at this point the effects of the mask begin to wear off and Link realizes the imminence of his death. All he can do is reach out for his sword in desperation, or is he reaching out for something else..?

EDIT: Ok, so it was brought to my attention that the Majora's Mask Manga pretty much negates the possibility of Oni Link being made useless in any way. I just want to stress that this was made with strictly game-canon details in mind.

Well that was long. But yeah. Basically, I came up with this idea after seeing all these pictures of Oni Link totally decimating Majora, or just looking bad@$$, and I figured he needs one where he's not all-powerful. And of course, I know his hair and eyes are all white, but I wanted to give the feel that there was still a little boy under there, scared to die. Also the red on his face is not blood its paint! I know you guys know I love to use blood, but not when it's unnecessary. Any resemblance to blood is puuurely coincidental... Maaaaybe... Also, Majora got a lot more tentacle thingies. Because they're cool.
