I can't give you my skills D: I know a lady that had a stroke and it changed something in her brain, now she is incredibly artistic and very tallented (where as before it would be hard to try and distiguish her stick figures!). But I would not suggest trying to give your self a stroke 
The mountains took me...about 2 hours to do I think, I do not have many screenshots breaking them down of how I did them, I'd be happy to scribble a few more up and show you the WIPs though if that would help? What kind of mountains are you trying to do?
