Comments, constructive critisims, pointer ect would be fantastic! This is my first real attempt at a detailed peice of traditional art with pencil, instead of the plain old line art!

Do you think so? The horse has pretty big eyes in real life, maybe it's all the buldges around it that make it look bigger? Thanks though

Yes, just a little though. Not that it looks extremely bad....it might be the bulges but im not sure. Most horses eyes are the same size or smaller than the horses nostril when in normal breathing...hence the eye would be real small compared to a running horses flared nostril.

sketches are always a traditional favorite and to me gives me severe reflection as to wondering why I decided to top sketching! Beautiful, detailed lines and soft and dark contrasting shading!
Plus Thoroughbreds I like personally! (I'm still in love with this flaxen gelding I've ridden on a trail ride!

I used to have a flaxen chestnut mare, but she was not a thoroughbred. She was a lovely looking colour. Thanks for the comment
