In which Yelena, at the end of her strength, collapses in Sosin territory and waits for the death she's fought against for so long. She's been wandering Siberia for months after being turned loose by a buyer that found they had no use for a scarred and stiff ex-pit tokota, trying to scrounge for food when she's never hunted in her life and finding her once-useful small size to be an extreme disadvantage. But just as she gives up a shadow falls across her, and a tokota the colour of a wild wolf crests the ridge before her, his raven's wings seeming to be his.

I had great fun doing this, from revisiting pencil-thin lines to making wings out of fog and light/shadow. I also cocked up about a dozen things along the way (and hopefully uncocked them) and made Iv's muzzle too narrow, but such is life xD Sort of a precursor to Yelena's RoDs? Why am I doing her RoDs this is a terrible idea. |D
