I've never really been good at complicated designs or detail so this was a challenge.It was originally all red, but it looked too red. So I added blue (turquoise) to balance it a little.
It still needs shading and a background, but those will be added later.
Time taken do far: 8 hours

Thats fine. I based mine off arabian and Marwari tack.
But because they are a ancient species you could do Greek, Egyptian, Myan or Aztec styles. So jsut look at references for jewelry, fabric patterns etc. Thats all i did.

Love the colors! Braided tails with ribbons are fun aren't they? And I love the wrap around the base of it, it's all very pretty. <3
