Yesterday I had purrfect visitors in my studio: Chip and Chap, two adorable kitten. Its unbelievable that people exposure her and her friend at the bulky waste
Nevertheless they are now at the cat aid were they will stay safe and happy until they get adopted. Yesterday I had the pleasure to take a photo session with them and it was so cute and funny. Most of the time we spend cuddling and it was hard not to steal them

Das Bild ist super. Es ist wirklich schade, wie viele Katzen ausgesetzt/abgegeben werden. In unserem Ortsansässigen Tierheim gibt es verhältnismäßig 5 hunde und bestimmt 30 Katzen, und dann sind das so liebevolle (und hübsche) Katzen! :/ immer am Schmusen...

Die beiden haben zum Glück sehr schnell ein neues zu Hause gefunden
Bei der Katzenhilfe bei der ich ehrenamtlich diese Bilder mache werden auch kostenlose Kastrationsangebote gemacht und wilde Tiere eingefangen, kastriert und wieder zurück gebracht, aber es kommen immer wieder neue Kitty zur Welt....) Überall dort wo wir kleine Kätzchen gemeldet bekommen, werden auch Fallen für die Muttertiere aufgestellt, um diese zu kastrieren, sonst können wir dort nämlich in der nächsten Wurfperiode die nächsten Kittys abholen.... Das bekommt man so schwer in den Griff

Ja, das hört sich wirklich mies an. Ich verstehe nicht, warum man seine Tiere nicht Kastriert. Wenn man sich schon Tiere hält (die man auch noch draußen "rumlungern lässt"), dann sehe ich da auch kein ethisches Problem, sondern eher eine Verpflichtung.
Die Kastration meines Meerschweinchenböckchens hat (weiß nicht mehr genau) 60-75€ gekostet und das, weil es im Allgemeinen eine komplizierte Operation gewesen sein soll. (Obwohl seine ... das erste waren, was mir bei ihm ins Auge fiel, als ich ihn aufgenommen hatte . Lange Geschichte...)
Naja, worauf ich hinaus will: am Besten, man plant sich bei Neuanschaffung eines Tieres die Kastrationskosten gleich mit ein oder holt sich sein Tier beim örtlichen Tierheim.
Aber noch sieht es so aus, als wäre hier nichts aus dem Ruder geraten
