Oh wow this is so beautiful! It looks like either a classic well done photo (no expert) or a very well done digital painting! Fantastic work!

I think you captured the look you were trying for very well.Β I would be curious to see a comparison picture of Julia where she feels it looks like her and not like her Grandma.Β

Love the thin depth of field, the light, the eyes.

I agree with what Julia said.Β Looks like an old fashioned Hollywood head shot, the type aspiring actors/actresses would hand out.
All it needs now is a dedication and an autograph.Β
"Too (insert name here), thanks for everything!Β Love; Julia.Β Of course the name is signed with great flourish. . . .

Your model is exquisitely beautiful. Hair and makeup very appropriate for the time frame you're emulating. I"m not sure if it's the lighting or post processing, but at the jaw line there's a disconnect - from very harsh to soft. It almost seems as if the face and neck belong to two different people. Personal preference for me would be to see the entire face under a softer light.

Beautiful photo of a beautiful woman! You created a great 20's look, maybe you could it made a bit softer, to simulate an old lens.
