Description
This is a PSD (photoshop) file so click that download button if you want to use the layers.Foal-- up to 1 yr of age
Filly--A female foal up to 4 yrs old.
Mare--Female 4 yrs or older.
my chart age range is based on this age range of REAL Ponies and horses. NOT MLP VERSE!
More specific terms are colt for a male foal and filly for a female foal, but these terms are used until the horse is age three or four
DO NOT COMMENT SAYING I AM WRONG ABOUT THE AGE RANGES ITS NOT BASED ON MLP VERSE AGES AT ALL

Mare--Female 4 yrs or older. luna is over 1000 years old so she is technically in this mare stage.
also there are several ponies who are taller than the main cast mainly shown as males for example prince blueblood and Fleur the posing pony .

PSD-Files can be opened in paint Tool SAI, Photoshop and GIMP, but not MSPaint.

That's not what I meant, I mean, if there's a pony with wings and a unicorn horn, does it have to be a princess then, or is it still just a regular pony?
It didn't explain it in the show, but I haven't seen any other ponies like that who aren't princesses, like Cadance, Luna, and Celestia.

well i think they are "royalty" if they are pegacorns/alicorns. because it shows consistency with Cadance also having wings and a horn. and no regular ponies having this.

not to rustle anyponies jimmies, but i dont believe that all alicorns must be royalty. i've done some basic biology punnet squares (you know, those 4 boxed squares used to see possible gene outcomes for offspring) and i found that every combination of pony has a chance of having an alicorn (horns and wings) offspring. Now, many ppl are saying that only royalty can be alicorns, and only ponies with alicorn mothers can be alicorns. If this is true, then how would you explain that gene combination that gives both horns and wings? Yes, its rare, and more likely when the mother is alicorn, but i dont believe that you have to be royalty to be and alicorn. Plus, if you look closely enough, most or all of the royal guards have wings, and yet some have horns too. This would imply that alicorns exist outside of the royal family.
sorry bout the long post, but it just irritates me that i automatically have to be royal because my oc has horns and wings. its kind of a sort of discrimination....
