Did I just do a crossover of APH and The Great Gatsby? Yes. Yes I did. This is my 1920s-themed contest entry for #APHetalia-Club :3 When I saw the theme was 1920s, this book was the first thing that came to mind - I read it last year for school. I think it's perfect for this contest because it's all about the Roaring Twenties.

Instead of typing out a summary or copypasting from Wikipedia, here's the summary from Better Than it Sounds : "An obscenely rich embezzler tries to get into his neighbor's cousin's pants."

For the sake of explaining the picture, Gatsby is in love with Daisy, who lives across the bay and has a green light on her dock. Gatsby looks at it while everyone else parties. If you want the rest of the novel, go read it! It's a good book!

Oh yeah, and that is NOT a glass of wine. I wanted him to hold a glass, even though it's the Prohibition, so just pretend it's grape juice or something. (Even I don't know what he's drinking. :/) And in the background... that's not mountains. There are no mountains on Long Island... it's houses. *fails* i got lazy ok
