Description
I have collected list of flags , which can represent languages. For some languages I found no flag. So I made flags for Sichuan Yi and Waray-Waray . For Bicolano I made this deviation, combining cross (Camarines Norte), palm (Camarines Sur and Masbate), ship (Sorsogon), river (Catanduanes) and mountain (Albay and Camarines Sur). Later I found site of this organization , whose logo contains only symbols of Albay: the Mayon Volacno and bird. I know that capital of Bicol, Lezgapi City is in Albay, but I intended to make the flag pan-Bicolan (not bound to Albay). But if the Mayon Volcano is pan-Bicolan symbol, I will enlarge it and remove the river and ship.
A Slovak has this impression: Bicolanos are Christians (cross), they recieved Christianity from overseas (ship), their land has palms and a sacred mountain. But the blue cross on yellow background is symbol of Östergötland .
I got following advices: Remove the ship and river, make background whole yellow or green (remove the cross) and add smoke to mountain. What do you think? Should the cross be preserved? And in what colors? Final flag I will upload to Commons.
