This is such a beautiful and vibrant piece. It immediately caught my attention. The impressionistic strokes and feel of it are loose and suggest just the right amount of detail. The fur, grass, and clouds are all well-done.
If I may, there is just one thing I would critique... if you'd rather not hear it, then please, stop reading here, it's fine.
The land just beneath the collie feels very empty relative to the rest of the pic, and I believe it is just a little distracting. I think just a small variation in color there would've made it a little less distracting. It's "emptiness" just contradicts the rest of the excitement of the picture I suppose.

HAHA this loks like my australian shepherd Arie,he passed two years ago. he had a tail and had a bad habit of climbing our 6ft stone fence and jumping off of it to catch butterflies and dragonflies.he had the same markings.
