About a year ago, I doodled up a pic of my mad Dr. Ryan which was inspired by *pu-sama 's piece " War Lust, but I lost interest in it and put it away. The a few months back, I was looking at =Endling 's EverAfter: Aftermath I.D Card thingys, and got inspired, so I took out of the sketch of Ryan, touched it up quite a bit, inked, and proceeded to colour it.
So, here's Ryan as the first of my 'Mental Patients' card series, which will not only consist of some of my own mentally unstable creations, but those of some of my friends as well (when I get the time to draw those up since I only have three finished works so far). I don't think I listed all of Ryan's 'symptoms' though...that would take up the whole page at least.
I tried a different technique for colouring hair with this, and I'm pretty happy with it, so I think I'll use it from now on. I also tried a different method my making his gloves all shiney while caked with blood. T'was fun.
oh yeah...and full view...it's a big'un.

That would have to be one awesome straijacket then. I mean, Ryan possesses monster strength (amongst other abilities). I think the onlu way you could keep him in a straitjecket is if you set Mel next to him and have her dare him to move.

I like this picture, at first I was a little confused at what was going on, but then I realized he's standing in like a door way of some sort with his hands on the frame. I think what threw me off was the fact that the 'walls' lack the same amount of shadows as Ryan himself. The blood looks like a brush.
I still really like this picture though, the pose is fun to look at and I bet fun to work with. Wonderful job!
