ew, random spewage pertaining to our commissioner, and I don't give a shit if he reads it or not. We sent all six images to him and he told us that two of them (mine included) were "unfortunately ok" and asked *ViCkeRzHeRe to REDO them COMPLETELY, FREE of charge. Which I think is unfair, seeing as Vick has a job and everything. It would be fine if he just wanted some touch-ups, but he's asking a completely different artist to do a completely different image : ( He won't even actually read the emails we send him asking to make a different compromise because he's "too busy with the grand opening of the shop."And guess what's just "okay"?
The STYLE. Our styles are "not good enough." My STYLE doesn't fit the image. I'm sorry, but he had plenty of time to choose which artist could draw which picture; he just GAVE us the styles and refs and essentially told us to do whatever, so he doesn't have any right to complain about the styles not fitting now that we've spent this much time giving him six images in a borderline-ridiculous time period.
He won't even explain it because he's not replying to the emails.

Otherwise I'm pretty okay with this picture. The face is a bit wonky and the coloring isn't rly up-to-par, but whatever : (
Although, I'm glad we got these commissions because I got an excuse to "research" gothic&lolita fashion quite a bit.

What the hell is with that commission story? =O,o= I wouldn't DREAM of behaving that way toward anyone, let alone someone who was making me something. And people have rules about redos for a reason. You can't just demand a redo when the artist has already worked hard on the first version. You're paying for their labour!
Anyway. =-_-=;; I love the way you drew this. He's very cute, I think the coloring looks fine, and the kodona outfit is adorable. Fave.

I don't think your rant was uncalled for. It must be horrible to work with persons ( commissioner on this case ) like that. And I really like this picture. It's beautifull and it's your style, I wouldn't give a shit about someone who says that this is "unfortunately ok".
