Dislikes: When a bad guy gets away, liquor (she can’t handle light, hard, any), Seiko, any mobster (she wants them all to rot in prison), getting the short end of the stick for being a woman/immigrant, her wings (they get in the way when she’s standing with her regiment), spicy things, Seiko, slackers on their posts, being confused (and she is a lot), Seiko, unable to prevent a crime, unable to find evidence to catch a criminal, her bewbs, when Ridley gives the “Let him go” order, and Seiko.

Strengths: Suimire can fly so she is the eyes from above during a manhut. She can also spot more evidence at a crime scene thanks to her Keen Eye ability. She is determined so she will not stop until the job is done.

Weakness: Suimire can’t handle heavy labor she’s a bird, what can you expect? so she can catch the criminal but have to leave it up to her male partners to haul him off. She is loud and quick to anger, so often times she provokes the wrong people and can bring a mission to disaster quickly, which is why she is mostly put on patrol. She is determined so she will not stop until the job is done not a typo

History: “Chasing the Wyndham Dream….”

Unrest in the government, the ashes of war spreading through the land, poverty, China became too dangerous to live. With that in mind, Chang Tian and his wife, Soo Yung, fled and boarded a ship to Wyndham, in hopes of finding a better life and a better future for their young children. With their meager funds, they landed in the port of Matusalem. That was where the journey ended, unfortunately. Chang, who had worked as a scholar, did not have enough to rent a cabby or car to go to one of the better cities. So Matusalem the family stayed.

Life was hard. Work was scarce, especially when the two Swannas could barely speak Broken English. It was later decided that Soo Yung stayed at home with the children while Chang went to find work at the docks. Soo Yung taught her two young daughters, Suimire being the oldest and Yanggung being the youngest, at their small crowded apartment, wary of sending them to public school. She groomed the two Duckletts and showed them the elegant ways of their kind, having been a performer before she married Chang.

The first months were hard; the ones following harder. Finally, after a year and a half of struggling, Chang found, though he would not say what he did. The family celebrated, seeing this as good fortune and soon money was coming in. They made enough for Soo Yung to go search for work herself and the two daughters went to school for the first time.

It seemed luck was smiling upon them, but their halcyon days lasted only for a few short months.

Suimire and Yanggung came home from school to a quiet neighborhood. Confused and a little scared, they met up with their neighbor, a old Purugly, who was acting odd, staring at the wall before her. Seeing the two girls, she held onto their arms and begged them to go home with her. That she had made cherry cobbler, fresh from the oven. It was tempting, but their mother wanted them home before going places so she wouldn't worried. The old woman's hands grew tighter that her claws extended. Frightened, Suimire kicked out at the Purugly and taking Yanggung's hand, ran to their meager apartment, opening the door.... just as a shot rang out.

Soo Yung's body stained their floor red, just in front of the living room hallway and in view of the two young girls. Alarmed with their sudden visitors, the men shot more rounds, straight at the girls. Suimire was hit in the side, whereas Yanggung was hit straight in the forehead. Falling down, experiencing such agony that she cried, she listened while the men searched the apartment, looking for papers and shouting when they couldn't find it. Staring into her mother's dead eyes, she laid there for an hour while the men tore up the place, finally leaving unsatisfied. It was by sheer luck that they did not check the bodies, otherwise Suimire would have been discovered as being alive.

That night, the police came to investigate, and found the dying Ducklett still breathing heavily, in numb shock from pain and trauma. Taking her to the hospital, where she was only minimally treated due to being an immigrant and a child. Suimire's life was saved, but the stitches on her side were so crudely done that she has now a ragged scar.

She stayed in the hospital for three days, the courtesy stay provided by the hospital for those with no money and brought by the police. She was mute during those days and no help to the police to what had happened, though they weren't really putting too much effort into the case. Finally, began the procedures to bringing the Ducklett to an orphanage and a few days later, Suimire was in a bunk bed at St. Carolyn's House of Misfortunates.

Days at the orphanage were hell. It was a fight to survive and still shocked, Suimire was bullied and harrassed by the other orphans and urchins. Most times, she hid in her bed, huddling in the flea infested blankets and praying to her amulet, the only thing the officers would let her take from her mother's body.

One day, however, one of the bullies, a female Snubull, noticed the amulet and tried to take it from her. Suimire, in response to the agressiveness, attacked the girl and stabbed a fork in her eye. She ran from the scene shortly after, not wanting to take the Sister's punishment and she was sick of the place anyway.

On her own was worse though, since she had no clue how to find food, where to sleep, or any way of the street life. She would stay during the night in trees, hiding among the branches. The hunger got so bad, however, that one day, when a Sneasle came into view and began to feed the birds, Suimire flew from her perch and ate the bird crumbs from the floor.

That was how Suimire met Seiko.

The Sneasle took care of the Ducklett, bringing her to a world of crime and darkness. Working for the Dark Mob as Seiko's underling, Suimire was introduced to guns and their majesty. While Seiko was off, working on jobs, Suimire took it upon herself to test these weapons and found herself more than an able shooter. Of course, the Ducklett was no free rider and did her own part in the mob, stealing when needing too or just helping with the paperwork that was their outside cover. Thanks to Seiko, her English became near fluent and she could read and write it.

Things were good until Suimire turned fifteen, a few days after she evolved into a Swanna. Wanting to test the girl's new abilities, they finally gave her a hit to do. Gladly, Suimire took one of the new guns imported from Russia that was yet to be tested. She noticed that if she focused Keen Eye just right, she can look long distances and so was going to try something new on this hit.

Climbing to the top of a church's belltower, Suimire set up and waited for her target to show, as was told to her. She had the timing, she had the shot.

But she didn't shoot.

Looking down, she saw a father coming home to his wife and children and a coldness overcame her, realizing what she was becoming to, who she now was. She was no different from the men that stole her family away from her, from the father that abandoned her.

That night, she waited for Seiko to come home. Explaining to the Sneasle that she was leaving, the two got into a dispute. You didn't just leave the mob. The mob decided what to do with you. But Suimire wasn't to be swayed and she left, taking along some money and forged papers, given to her by the director in charge of the area they lived in.

Going straight, she used those papers to make herself a citizen and went back to school. She soon graduated two years later, and joined the police academy at age 19. She pushed through those hard years, being a woman and Chinese but never did she let those get to her. She graduated at the top of her class on her 21st birthday.

Now she is stationed within the Chivas Regal's police force. A hard worker and no nonsense about everything, she swears to bring all the mobsters to justice, starting with the men who killed her family, the father who abandoned them, and shall end her revenge by imprisoning the worst mobster of them all - herself.

She LOVES guns, but lack the upper body strength to wield some of them.
