Gerard's POV

Fuck, First day of school.
I inched my way out of my black cotton sheets and onto the newly finished floors of my new room. There were boxes everywhere but I still managed to get my Green Day poster on my wall. At least it sort of feels like home, I grabbed my phone which was pointless to have since I had no friends to text me. See, ever since my little brother and my parents moved to this shit-hole of a town I have been more depressed than ever. I can tell it has been affecting Mikey too, I haven't heard from him in about a week. He has been trying to 'rebel' against my parents but we have been enjoying not hearing his usual whining and moaning about our move.
I threw on a tight pair of jeans, and a plain black tee. I swished some mouthwash, and flew out the door. I felt around in my pockets for my lighter, and pulled out a cigarette from my backpack. I lit it and inhaled the nicotine, right then, I realized whatever happened, I just needed to think of the feeling to take a drag and I will be calmed down immediately. I took my final drag, a deep breath, and prepared myself for a year of forced laughter and smiles, a year of regrets, and a year of hell.
