Turner joined the Syndicate Worlds Internal Security Services (ISS) twenty five years ago. After achieving CEO rank, Turner has commanded Syndicate Internal Security Services on a range of Prime and Fronteir Worlds. Taking her post on Laredo six months ago. Like many Syndicate Worlds CEO's, Calan Turner has amassed a vast personal fortune by leveraging her position of power.

Outside of enforcing Syndicate rule, Calan collects classic aircraft & original artwork, competes in triathalons,enjoys reading personal development books and is a patron of various big cat cat rescue charities.
