I wanted to get this shot from a different angle but my reflection kept showing in the paint. Oh well, at least I got a bit of chrome on. I have a lot of chrome that really just needs to be replaced, but the money isn't there to do it all right now. This is a new piece.Related content

"By Chevrolet". Back then, manufacurers put real pride into their products. Sure, they still have the symbols around, but it's not the same really.
Also, the names are always written in the same, bland style. Not like this.

Yup, so many cars they made in those days had more than just the symbol, they NAMED themselves. "That was made by ME! Enjoy what I have done!"

Im in the same situation as you with the chrome on my Camaro, theres some I was able to polish up and save, and the rest is pretty much trashed, bent or missing. But i was able to find a few new pieces for pretty cheap at swapmeets . I think i found a set of emblems like this that were 15 for the set. They were new, and been on a car prviously, but they still looked acurate and have pretty nice spotless chrome

Say, any clue where the turn signal relay is on a Camaro? Mine still isn't going dink dink dink with the turn signals.

Not 100% sure. When i took mine all apart It was somewhere in the dash. I think it might have been somewhere towards the bottom of the dash, where its easy to get to...who knows, the dash designs of the 68 and 69s are totally different, not sre about the guts and everything inside
