Not really a new submission but something to tie me over and show that I'm still alive while I work on my next piece...This is a picture obviously of Kim and Ron back in their pre-teens. I snagged it from a picture in the Possible house, resampled it and used it in my "Looking Back" and "Christmas Morning" backgrounds.
The spin on it, is that it's one of the few items salvaged from the Possible's house after the Lowardian invasion occurred at the series' finale. (For those who never watched it, an alien tripod crushes Kim's home) This is why the picture is torn, dirtied, and imporant. I have it "taped" to the background as if it's in a scrap book...maybe the scrap book in "Looking Back", I dunno.
I can't really take full credit for this, since I basically just traced over a screen cap, but I did draw it out and cleaned it up nicely. It wasn't intended to be a stand alone piece, just a part of the background but hey, it's been a while since I submitted something.

With the freckles I see a strong resemblance to Joss who appears to be approximately the same age as Kim is here. I wonder if Joss will grow up resembling Kim; she does have green eyes as well.

It's really charming to think that the picture survived, a nice reminder of how close they've always been. Oddly enough, now that I see it so close-up Kim looks quite charmed by Ron's silliness.

Anybody who's ad a fire, damage, etc. can easily relate to this. I sort of know what that is because my next door neighbor's apartment had a fire and we had some damage from it.

I just love Kim's dorky dental braces. It's one of the really lovable things about the character that she isn't effortlessly perfect. The KP we see in the show is very obviously the produce of a lot of work and this makes Ron's relationship with her far stronger - He liked her before she was beautiful and super-popular; That has to count for something!
